Resource of the Month: Disability Resource Center

The Eastern Michigan University Disability Resource Center (DRC) views disabilities as an integral part of the rich diversity of our campus community and society. They work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff to create an accessible, sustainable, and inclusive educational environment for all students.

The DRC acknowledges that classroom and campus accessibility needs and considerations are expanding as more classes and campus experiences incorporate online and technological components. The DRC staff is dedicated to providing access to students, faculty, and staff with resources to educate and create an equitable campus experience for the EMU community.

Organization of the Month: The Latinx Student Association (LSA)

The purpose of the Latinx Student Association is to give the Latinx student body a comfortable place to express their culture, as well as giving the opportunity for non-Latinx students the chance to learn and experience the various Latinx cultures.

The Latinx Student Association is holding its annual Quinceañera! This event will be a traditional quinceañera with food, beverages, dancing, a DJ and much more!

The event will be held on Thursday, April 6 and the doors will open AT 6:30PM! Please arrive sharply and somewhat formal at the McKenny Ballroom.

This event is open to ALL people and you may bring friends and family!
